Fire hazard (cruise air basement units 85PT40)
Trying to get all systems checked out for summer I was checking my A/C
units to find that my center (basement) unit inop. These are the same
units (cruise airs)that where in my boats so Iam very familier with
these units. After removing the control panel cover I found a burnt
wire that went to the thermostat. This would not bother me so much but
Bluebird did not leave any space behind the A/C control panel and a
wood cover which I found chared!!!! .This is a comin problem with
these units. (wire is to small for the load)Iam going the increase the
space between the control panel to lesson the possibility of fire also
would recommend a heaver wire from the thermostat to the
compressor.Lee Condosta Wilmington N.C 85PT40
