Greg,

That sounds almost as good as Randy's explaination of the
malfunctioning speedometer (disconnected)while driving his "PICKUP",
to the cop on US301 in Florida, this came just a few miles after
Randy pointed out to me the bilboard signs WARNING about the speed
traps located just down the road....it was a classic!!

That Cummins and ten speed makes for a real cruiser and I must admit,
it doesn't seem like you are going that fast either, but you know I
can't let Randy forget about that, after all what are friends for???

By the way, in all of the ridding and acting the tourist roll up here
in the Black Hills, I haven't seen another 'Bird anywhere around
here, but then I wouldn't venture out on most of the roads that I
have been on with a 'Bird, they can be very narrow with 10 mph
switchbacks in places, you have to really pay attention to the
warning signs that are posted, on the other habd ridding my
motorcycle on these roads is a blast. Today I will extend my stay
here for another week.
