Verizon phones sans air card
This is a good thread and I have learned allot about the air card which I
have been wondering about. Charolette and I have Verizon phones and pay
$68.00 a month for 800 minutes. While in Bird's Nest, Bob Gradowski showed
Bruce and I how he connected with his phone only. I wnet to the Verizon and
purchased the cable and software for $ 45.00 to fit my phone. I now get
e-mail or surf the web via the phone anywhere I am at. Even in areas where
I can't get enough signal for conversations I can still get e-mail. I am
impressed. Also on the bill, the web time is billed as Data and I have had
as many as 8 sheets showing Data $00.00 charge to my bill. It is not fast
at 1X 230K but it does the job.

Safe travels,
