Refrigerator

Don't know a thing about which refrig is best so here
comes the dumb question:

If I understand what some say, i.e. home type
refrig's are less expensive and perhaps even "better"
than the special RV's type most of us have in the
coach; why did the coach manufacturers not install the
home type in the first place?
