Hi,
Here is picture of what should be "New" tie rod on a 450 LXi.
Please check and post yours-let's see the difference. . The 380 should be the "Old Style"

I believe the OP erred and was referring to Ball joints throughout the post, not tie rods . Boots have been made for ball joints.
