I just ran into this problem today. I went to start the engine and the key did nothing. My heart stopped for a minute then I remembered reading this string. I went to the back of the bus inserted the key toggled the switch from front" to "rear" turn the key and it started right up. I ran it for about 5 minute and shut it down. toggled the switch back to "front". I then inserted the key up front and it started. Not sure what the issue was, maybe just being temperamental today.
