Compartment lock

Hi Jerry,
Take out the lock and take it to a good lock smith. Maybe it can be fixed. I have one that gives me trouble, not often, and wondering what I should do. I have so many keys for the BB that one more wouldn't hurt...I think.

All my basement compartments on my 85 PT40 lock with the exception of one side of the pass through. Is there a way to fix that lock? Get a new one keyed the same way? I probably could just get a new lock with a different key but I'm sure I'm not the first to go through this.
