So today I visited the dealer to pick up some parts for my project. I took along the Weir thermostat I took out of the Bird, the Gates one and compared to theirs. Turns out theirs look exactly like the Gates I bought. In chatting with them, they looked it up and said that the original part number of 5102651 was superseded by 23503825.
