Interesting after X-mas buy

I just got back from Radio Shack and then double checked on line.

There are a few mini-laptops out (screen size 7-10 inches) running
Windows XP for well under $500 (Tiger Direct $299).

They can run GPS programs, WiFi, eMail calendars and other very useful
stuff for Birders.

Just thought I'd give everyone a heads-up. We've already got one
otherwise would be buying.
