Adventures in Wanderland
When I went to pick up my 'bird at Mr. Oliver's, they had just gotten
in a new 'bird for sale. It was set up as an excursion coach with the
forward salon lounge and the back bedroom set up as another lounge
(no bed except one sofa could be made up as a bed). They also had the
complete bedroom "furniture" including side island bed that would
cover the wall and window at the head of the bed, if you wanted to
install it.

I can actually understand covering the window at the head of the bed,
as I once had my bed under a high window in an apartment. I nearly
froze to death from the draft off the glass during the winter. (I've
never put a bed under a window since.) I've got to admit, I'd sure
love to have the cross ventilation from the window at times -- but
I'd probably not enjoy the draft in cooler weather. As with most
things, it's a trade off.
