Fyi...a work in progress. And Mike says I have too much time on my hands...

We wanted a wider look inside our coach. This is a work in progress and continues.

To accomplish this the dinette was reduced in width 9" (to the width of the base box) and gives us a lot more room to work in the kitchen area, the carpet was removed and bamboo flooring was installed front of coach to walk through bath, the two chairs/two drawer cabinet/table were removed, and the fold out couch/bed was removed.

Where the two chairs/two draw cabinet/table were a couch box was added (giving us a whole lot more internal storage), and more sitting area on the new couch than the two chairs provided, plus sleeping.

Removing the fold out couch/bed was interesting...another story. With some modification to the base box we now have a couch with lots more under storage than trying to place items through the drop down door. Also gives access to the two heaters, etc. that are under that area. Guests sleep single now, one of each couch...no complaints so far.

All the above has new cushions/upholstery. We chose very good foam and Sunbrella material for this.

The above has opened up the coach, making is appear wider. Makes us happy.

The next work item is to replace the original drapes with something that makes us happy...still thinking about this one. Removing the original drapes will for sure make the coach feel wider. Someone has spoken for the original drapes and he will receive them after this step is completed.

I'll take pictures of all this and post them for all to see.
