First is the Atlanta-Marietta RV Resort (http://www.amrvresort.com/). Its up 75 (if that makes it convenient for you). Neighborhood is so-so. But, its fairly convenient to 75 and Atlanta and I've been told its well-kept. Next, there is Twin Lakes RV Park in Cumming GA (http://www.twinlakes-rvpark.com/). This one is up 400 north of Atlanta. There is also Jones RV Park along I-85 in Norcross. I'd avoid this one at all costs. Its a dump. I say that just in case you see it on any listings, you'll know to avoid it. After that, most of your options are going to be COE campgrounds at the lakes or state parks (which will require a 2 night stay on the weekends). I don't know the minimum stay requirements for COE campgrounds. On the northwest side (along 75) side of town you have Lake Allatoona with McKinney campground (everyone I know likes this one a lot) as well as Red Top Mountain. Northeast corridor (along I-85) has several campgrounds on Lake Lanier as well as Fort Yargo State Park. If you want to stay on the south side there is Indian Springs State Park and High Falls State Park. Both of these are along 75. Keep in mind that the state parks and COE campgrounds are usually water/electric only but all have dump stations. I suspect that won't be a problem if you are only staying 1 night.
