A new problem for this group to ponder
Hello everyone,

I experienced a new "issue" on our way home from Alabama after taking 20 laps behind the wheel of a Nascar race car at Talladega. What a blast!

Here's the new problem. I had used the cruise control all day and also had the retarder switch on (but not using). I came to a stop at an intersection and when I applied the brakes my engine revved to 1000 RPM's (above the typical 550 RPM's when stopping & off the accelerator). I took my foot off the brake, engine kicks down back to 550 rpm's (normal). I applied the brake again, engine kicked back up to 1000 rpm's. Very very strange. I had this happen a few times, one time getting up to 1500 RPM's when trying to stop the coach which was a chore and very scary to think the coach wouldn't stop. I put the coach in neutral when applying the brake, didn't stop the high RPM's while having the coach brake applied. After being back underway, before the next stop, I switched the cruise to off and
the retarder to off. Coming to my next stop the coach braked normally until I got home. Yesterday, I went to move the coach, and it did the exact same thing with cruise and retarder off. Apply the brakes, engine revs to 1000 rpm's whether the coach is in reverse, drive or neutral. This is probably not an easy fix, but would appreciate any collective direction or thoughts on the matter.

Thank you in advance!!
