Bird Sighting on I-70 in Kansas

Heading East on I-70 just west of Hays, we spotted a maroon & silver Bird going
west.
Honked and waved, they waved back -- any idea who it was ot if they're on the
forum?
Heading to a job in Salina and then to Pittsbirg, KS to visit Lis'a family.
