Replace stock '92 inveter with Xantrex RS2000 OR RS3000?
My coach is at the body shop being repaired, so I can not rip the
inverter out or recall what the breaker panel setup is for the Heart
2000 that is in there now. I assume the '92 and '93 are basically the
same setup. I have a battery compartment with 8 gel cells and above
that I have a enclosed box with a door which contains two older style
IOTA converters and the Heart inverter. I have had the inverter out
before so I could pull the converters, but can not recall what the AC
input and output hookup was like.

You say you did the swap in 30 minutes without the new control panel.
Since I can not recall, I would assume since the old unit is 2000watt
that Bluebird did it with a single AC output connection from the
inverter to a 20AMP breaker in the breaker panel?

In your swap did you just hook up one side of the AC output from the
RS3000, or does it require both AC output phases be attached to the
breaker panel?

was wiring up the remote panel. They did not change any breakers at
all. When the Heart crapped out in Alaska, I could not find anyone
to install the Xantrex and I swapped them out myself in about 30
minutes. I did not get the remote hooked up until I got back down to
the lower 48.
