Installing hard flooring in the galley

I would like to install bamboo 3/8" (nom) flooring in the galley area and am
interested what the best way is to anchor it down as well any prep. info/advice.
Obviously, the floor needs to be clean and smooth. Beyond that I am not sure
how to proceed.

It seems like someone on one of the forums has had some first hand experience
with this.
