A couple of days ago, the subject of inverters was discussed at some
length on this Forum. I sent a request to Xantrex technical support
asking their specific recommendation for a 2500-3000 watt model. They
recommend the Freedom 458 series for my needs (PT40) in the 2,500 or
3,000 watt models & said it is serviceable nationwide. They also said
the Freedom 458 Marine version was not necessary in an RV application as
the only difference was echo charging & an aluminum case and it was more
$$$s.

They also said that the PROsine series is not serviced outside of their
facilities & the 2000 watt model is the only one serviced in North
America. Just a FYI for those who own or are considering a PROsine.
