Rear View Camera Replacement

Has anyone replaced the black & white Sony rear view camera and
monitor? Sony uses a 4 conductor cable with a brand specific "mini-
din" connector. So far, the only color system that I've found that can
use the existing cable is a Voyager LCD system. The supplier has
adapters to connect the power, video and audio signals to the existing
sony cable. Side cameras are available if wanted. The only problem I
can foresee is that the night vision LED's would reflect off the
glass "camera window". Maybe these can be turned off or relocated? My
Sony B&W is still working so I am not in a hurry but it is getting
tired and I am not looking forward to snaking a new cable from the rear
to under the dash. Wireless is not an option. Any ideas? Thanks!!
