Zip Dee Window Awnings

[Chuck Wheeler]

The front left awning has one of the springs either broken or disconnected.
Has anyone every had one of the mechanisms apart? How?

Rule of thumb for Zip Dee awnings is: 1 turn per linear foot plus 5 turns
