1989 Bluebird WB
I have been looking for sometime at Bluebirds trying to figure out
what I should buy in the WB Coaches. I found a 1989 with 80,000 miles in excellent shape. Are there any significant downfalls with his model compared with the early 90's (which are a lot more money). It seems like a great deal for the condition . Of course I would have it thorougly inspected for I purchased. My main concerns is the obsolescense fo something from this vintage compared to the early 90's. Just looking for input from the Bluefird community for how I would best spend my money. The 1989 woulb be at least $35,000 less than more early 90's I have looked at. Thanks! |

Doug, I would not hesitate a bit buying that 89- if everything checks out. We are looking at an 88 model as we like the vintage look. Ernie- 83PT40 |

1989 Bluebird WB
Ernie,
Are you looking at a WB on the 96" Wide. I like the looks of the 96" side coaches but figure I need all the room we can get. I am new at this and don't know what to expect. I am retired and my wife will be retired next year and we want to travel extensively. I get all kinds of mixed info from people as what type of coach to buy (newer fiberglass with slides vrs older quality coach like Bluebird no slide). So far all the newer coaches look cheap and with poor quality. Some of the very new ones are looking a little better but I am not going to take the hit on a new one. Any recommendations and/or comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks! Doug, the coach we have looked at is an 88 model, no slide, and is a wide
body. miles - a lot of them don't really matter, if the coach was taken care of. The worst thing is sto buy a coach that's 15 years old with low mileage. Bluebirds like to run. Ernie- 83 pT 40 in texas- where I will be in 2 days!!! [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
