Does anyone out there in "Birdland" have the Orr & Orr part number for the bay
door struts on the late '80s FCs?

The struts are made in different lengths and pound strengths. You can probably
order them simply by measuring the extended length and determining the strength
which is stamped on many of them. I would bet that you need 80 to 100 pounds on
the unit.

Hi don’t know if they are same as 87 PT38, but if they are the
part number for Orr & Orr is FBN12K for 110# struts, they were out of 100#
ones so I opted for these and they work fine

Thanks to all for the bay strut posts, especially Robert, who had the answer to
the question.
