My orig. caphad been replacedby a POand is just what Curt is suggesting. It has a hole and the hole is filled up with a loose bolt. A breather I suppose. The gasket appears to be thick rubber. Works fine.

Have you tried a heavy equip shop(caterpillar), they have different size tanks on equipment, have you though about a pvc pipe fitting to verify the pitch?

Go to velvac.com . They list alot of caps and also an adapter that

may be what you need to get a more common cap to fit. I think your bulk oil fill cap is the same as the fuel cap if you want to steal it. Not sure if you where able to find a fuel cap yet, but today while I was picking up some parts at "Express Truck Parts" in San Jose, California I noticed that they have 3" fuel caps in stock. I don't know if it's the one your looking for but you can give them a call @ 408-288-5410 Robert Britton 87FC Hollister Ca. |
