83 FC in Texas with a bad motor

Has anyone been able to get a close look at the 83 FC in Waxahachie
Texas with the bad motor? If it were not 1712.68 miles away I would
have brought it home already. Still tempted.

Not a problem. I got my 83 FC hauled to Milwaukee from Houston for 3200 bucks
including wrecker service to get it loaded and unloaded. Didn't get a scratch.
It takes a double drop low boy trailer and an operator with a brain.
From experience, get a Cat reman. Don't try to save a few bucks.

I don't know about Jasper but Cat has dealers all over the country and they
offer a strong warrantee for their engines.
For most end users, Cat would be my recommendation.

ebay,bad turbo,uscked the oil out of the motor and blew it up.according to the
add..there is a reserve,somewhere around 15 grand,add the price of a new
motor,labor etc and you can have 35-40 grand in this coach.thats no
