A new problem for this group to ponder
I realy didnt have a thought about the M&G other then the first
things I look to when a problem arises is ;self inflicted changes ;recent repairs, and ;operator confusion. M&G uses air and the toad is a big electiral system modification to the bus. Drew's post was full of good details, I wanted him to reveal more to the readers who may have the solution. It sounds like RalphF has the solution, and Drew will followup with a result. I just wish the subject line was more descriptive as to help with a future archive search. Looking at the prompt to the problem (pushing the brake pedal) Leroy was able to surmise the TwoPedal/BigToe theory. Since pushing the pedal moves air and turns on electric brake lights, it may be air or electric. I have no idea how the cruise or high idle works knowlede of those systems would help solve his issue. I am not confident enough to use CruiseControl to drive or use an air operated high idle system to warm my bus. The service brakes(prompted by driver brake pedal) in an air brake system are pressure applied, without pressure the brakes are off. The park brake spring is the one that needs constant pressure to remain off. If the M&G brake away brake option fails, it may lock the toad brakes up GregoryO'Connoir 94ptRomolandCa --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Jim Riordan" wrote: > > Greg, > > I just installed an M&G brake system on my 88 WBWL XXV did not think > that it would affect anything but possibly if air leak that the > brakes would not come off! what were you thinking that the M&G might > do? > > Jim Riordan > > --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Gregory OConnor" > > > > > If I asked "how big are your feet?"
