nice pic of blue thunder!
i love the background shot of the VLA and whith a the dishs on blue
thunder it looks like a james bond setting!
whats the middle dish on blue thunder for?

Thanks, Randy. I had a picture like that in mind for some time, and it was fun
to visit the VLA and get the picture. Both the middle and back dishes are
internet. I think you have Hughes, so you recognize the back dish. The middle
one is running a high-speed connection on an iDirect service - 1.2 meter dish
with 4-watt transmitter. The back one is used for testing stuff for Motosat, and
I also use it as backup when I don't trust leaving the big one up in high winds.
