Service life for an Onan 7000 Generator

When I bought my bird two years ago the previous, previous owner had
installed a brand new gen-set. I can't find out how many hours are
on this unit but I would suppose maybe 500 hours? What would be the
life expectancy of one of these gas run generator if I keep the PM's
up to spec? Anyone know? Jon

By previous,privious owner I mean that was the second party to own
the Rebel Bird. Oh yes I have kept contact with that party and they
had the bird for 10 years and then sold it to the person I bought it
of. Jon
