Fantastic Rv Park In Central Florida
James I spent some time there last winter & I agree with you. It is one
of the nicest parks in central FL that I have stayed in too. Plan on going back there next winter for a while. Don 89 SP 356' Butler, PA In a message dated 6/19/2006 6:43:20 P.M. Fantastic Rv Park In Central Florida
I am currently at "Grand Lake RV & Golf Resort" in Orange Lake
Florida. (About 15 miles south of Gainsville) This is a very nice place that I can reccomend highly. There are long concrete pull-throughs, all with 50 Amp service and full hook- ups. There are no dirt roads anywhere on this property. It is very nicely landscaped, clean and well maintained. There is a nine hole golf course and a 2500 acre lake that is on the pro-bass fishing circuit. Rental golf carts and boats are availible as well as a laundry mat, large club house and all the other usual stuff. All the parking pads are shaded to the southside with varing types of trees and shrubery. The entire facility is lighted very smartly at night ... this is a very nice place to kill some time in your 'Bird! Best part is that it only cost $225 per month from April thru September, with metered electricity. All other hook-ups as well as cable tv and a park wide WI FI system are included at no charge. They have a web site on the net, so check them out if you care to. After crossing the Country from Vegas, I believe I'll chill here for 30 days and chase some golf balls and fish around the premise. Thanks again to all who sent some very good park reccomendations to me by e-mail. Ah yes, once again order has been restored to the universe. And now, all is well... Fantastic Rv Park In Central Florida
There is another RV park not far from where you are. Elite Resorts
at Salt Springs, East of Ocala in the forest that has everything one ever needs. Not quite as cheap but extremely nice. Lake, boat launch, cafe, post office, WIFI, cable, diesel nearby, controlled security access, full grocery, 3 pools one heated, planned activities, tons of trees, fishing, fire ring, putt golf, lots of stuff. If you do not like to walking a golf cart would be good. Fantastic Rv Park In Central Florida
Thanks, Leroy.
I looked up Elite Resorts on the internet, looks very nice! Perhaps I'll go there next. I really like central Florida, never imagined that it could be this beautiful. Man, what do they feed the large mouth bass around here? Those fish are HUGE! Went golfing this afternoon and shot a 72. Oh yeah, it was a nine hole course ... Fantastic Rv Park In Central Florida
James: I will tell you that you are much better at golf than I am.
I take out windows and such when I play. We own an RV lot at Salt Springs. It is a 72foot backin across from one of the bath houses. Big lot. We will upgrade to 100amps in October. Take the grandkids there and to Silver Springs about four times a year. The remainder of the time it is on the mandatory rental program. I think you will like the park. If not, Please let me know so that I may register a complaint.
