CO/LP monitor
Anyone have any idea where I can get a replacement for this co/LP remote sensor? It's the one that goes just inside the outside door for the fridge. It started going off intermittently and then full time, even with the gas turned off. It has three wires and no identification marks.

RE: CO/LP monitor
I'm going to answer my own question. I took it apart and found PMMI-Inc on the circuit board. Wrote them an email and they no longer stock the part.

RE: CO/LP monitor
Hi Steve,
I meant to ask what the sensor was connected to; i.e., what kind of control board. Seems these gas sensors require a control board of sorts to calibrate and to drive the heat circuit. Here's something to take a look at: http://www.futurlec.com/Gas_Sensors.shtml and this: http://learn.parallax.com/carbon-monoxid...duino-demo and this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MQ-7-Gas-Sensor-...0772999740 As you can see you need to electronically drive them. david brady, '02 Wanderlodge LXi 'Smokey' (Sold), '04 Prevost H3 Vantare 'SpongeBob' "I don't like being wrong, but I really hate being right" |

RE: CO/LP monitor
Hi David
I think it was just connected to the warning center above the door. These warning lights and buzzers have an on/ off switch so I think - or am hoping - that this sensor is not embedded in the LP system on the bus, and I think it is independent of the master LP switch on the dash that activates the solenoid on the tank. Gonna test a few things today. Steve Steve Fox 87 FC35 |
