Sticky bedroom window
Thanks. The daynights are kinda tricky to remove. The regular window shades
come out easily. Brad Barton 00LXiDFW bbartonwx@... I'm not sure what they exactly look like/how theycome out not being a coach owner sadly, but I'm kinda guessing it looks likeit is rolled up and would rip if you tried to lower it? Pop them out, andhold over a decent steam source for a while to see if maybe that loosens theadhesive/soda/whatever and allows it to be spread out and cleaned perhaps?Dane_____ From: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com[mailto:WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of brad bartonSent: Friday, July 06, 2007 11:06To: wanderlodgeforum@...: RE: [WanderlodgeForum] Sticky bedroom windowOn our LXi, I found out the night shades had hardly been used at all..verysticky..almost to the point of tearing. The passenger seat is on a rotating base -- we simply rotate it "in"
and my double duty "dining" and "office" chair is comfortable for sitting/reading. We don't use the forward TV and plan to remove it entirely at some point. We also don't do a lot of socializing -- inside the coach anyway -- so the lack of a "living room" is not a problem to us. Admittedly, others might not like this arrangement -- but it suits our lifestyle. One comment on the filing cabinets. We selected the top-of-the-line model that's very solidly made. While underway, they don't contribute (much) to the rattling, but it's important to lock the drawers so they don't open up on turns. They are bolted to a wooden platform (attached to the floor) that raises them about 6". This allows the AquaHot heat radiator to remain near its original location just behind the driver's area. (It had to be moved closer to the wall, but it was easy to move.) Pete Masterson '95 Blue Bird Wanderlodge WBDA 42 aeonix1@... If you put a couple of pink flamingos out in front of the bus wherever you parked, it would fit right in. Surely that would be a cheaper and easier solution... -Ryan '86 PT-40 8V92 Tri-Cities, WA |

Ryan,
You have no idea. A neighbor down the street and around a corner had an old pick-up truck that was long-term parked in front that was "decorated" with a couple of pink flamingos. Some fool complained about the "eyesore". While the truck was removed (various parking laws 'help' when complaints are made), the neighbor's response was to "decorate" their front yard with several dozen plastic pink flamingos -- and a "fence" of old brass bed head boards was put up. Frankly, the decorated truck was more attractive... Pete Masterson '95 Blue Bird Wanderlodge WBDA 42 El Sobrante CA aeonix1@... LOL! Well, we all have different tastes, I suppose. It's usually best
not to push people with odd tastes, they often react unpredictably. I painted my house a deep blue and it doesn't exactly fit with one of my neighbor's vision of what a house should look like. I figure it's my house, there aren't any covenants and I like the color. So, to his mild whining, my answer was, "Keep it up and I'll have to paint the fence to match." He let it go. "Flamingo-ing" houses has become a popular thing in some areas. I've seen it several times around here. It seems to be a replacement for the toilet-papering of houses we used to do as kids: You go out and buy several dozen pink flamingos, then cover someone's yard in them under cover of darkness. It's quite a sight. -Ryan On 7/9/07, Pete Masterson > > Ryan, > > You have no idea.
