Does Bluebird monitor this forum????
I do to Bennie has always been good to work with. He has always gotten
back to me. Must have been a reason. Don 89 SP 36; Butler, PA Dan, I agree with Leroy, don't give up. I have placed probable 40 calls to Bluebird in four years. I'd say only 10% were not returned, not bad, or I did not give Bluebird the right information and the time to return my call and I called them again. Bluebird does state in the Blue Book to inform them of the exact model, mfg. date, body number when calling. I fail to do that most of the calls I have made. I feel pretty good about contacting Bluebird and the responses I have received. I know Bluebird is short on help. Curt Sprenger 1987 PT38, Anaheim Hills, Calif. Does Bluebird monitor this forum????
I hope so cause I;ve called Parts,, Tech service,, and Bennie
Collier in the last week ( and left messages ) and not one of them has had the courtesy to call me back... Is managment there that incompitant that they don;t understand the importance of good customer relations with there present owners?? Can someone on this forum give me the name of who it is I might call at Bluebird who gives a shit about there customers.. As you can detect I;ve had it with this kind of service,,, I;ve been in buisness most of my life and was NEVER able to treat my customers this way... For reasons I care not to get into at this time I will be selling my Bluebird, and in the future I would have a hard time recommending to someone to buy a Bluebird because of the factories horrible attitude... Sorry for the rant but its damn frustrating when I seldom call because I know how busy they are there but when I do, nobody from 3 differant department can call me............... DAN |

Dan:
Don't give up yet. Most of the service people have been on vacation. I called Bennie this AM, he returned my call afternoon and is sending me a schematic of the air system on my WB, free of charge. I have had very good luck with Bennie. I have also had good luck with Coachworks by McDonald in Columbus. Mr. George Rogers. Thanks. When a new person joins the forum, we -the moderators, receive an email
stating such. There have been, in the past, a few individuals that are from corporate. If they read the messages they receive it is unknown to us. Ernie Ekberg 83 PT40 Livingston, Montana [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

As a last resort, I will call the factory. It may take me a whole lot of
extra time figuring things out by myself. But I agree Bennie and Earl need all the help they can get. Ernie Ekberg 83 PT40 Livingston, Montana [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Does Bluebird monitor this forum????
Dan, I have had my BMC for a couple of years now. I had a lot of
little things that I had to fix, and I do the work myself. I have called Bennie hundreds of times and Earl in part a dozen times. Yes sometimes I didn't receive a return call for a couple of days, so I would call again. A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to go by and take the factory tour and meet Bennie and Earl, they are as nice as can be and very professional. The couple hours that I was there the phones rang off the hook. They are two guys helping thousand of people, most of whom need tech help and there is research to be done as they are talking to the customer and trying to explain what to do, all on the phone. Personally, I think BB is providing a great service, and even to a secondary market, as I bought my coach used. Marty |
