sorry to hear that. It should be easy to find the cause with burnt wires. One
path that might be overlooked is a short in one bank of batteries and the charging circuit ending up as a path the offload amps to the short frm the goodset???????? I had a similar problem at the Maxton Rally in 2008.
There is a problem with the Leece Neville Alternator that was described to me. I can put you in touch with the guy who re-built mine. He can give you the complete story.
