Winterizing and Rodents ( Mothballs or ? )

One more thing to do before I can officially proclaim the bird as
"WINTERIZED".

I was planning on putting mothballs in every cupboard, closet, storage
area and nook or cranny I can find.

While at the local Fleet Farm I stumbled onto a unit that plugs into a
110 volt outlet and claims to drive the pests away by annoying them
with a high pitched frequency. Anyone tried the "sonic" rodent repelers?

I used the fabric dryer sheets as suggested by some of the sages here. Havn't
seen any mice indications and the coach smell real nice

I use one of those whole house sonic blasters in the Birds. I can't
scientificly prove that it works, but on the other hand I have no
rodent problems, so I think of it as cheap insurance since the Birds
are always plugged in anyway. I also keep rodent poison in small
packets around the outer edge of the Bird garage.

---instead of mothballs, we use those fabric softner sheets u put in
when drying clothes..in drawers, closets floor, etc..called bounce I
think.

Troy,

We purchased two of the "sonic" rodent repellers. One is in the
kitchen/dinette area and the other is in the bath. So far so good -
we've had problems in the past since our home base is in the country.
