Fuses
In the compartment that houses the Readyline and the 2 chargers, mounted on the
swing down door there are 2 glass fuses, anyone know what they are for. Also
mounted on the door is a relay & two solinoids.

Elmer, on my 1985 PT40 one of those glass fuses is for the engine compartment lights and the other one is for the electric clutch on the air conditioning comp. on the engine.

On my 1985 PT40...
1.) one fuse is for the cruise control
2.) one fuse is for the A/C clutch relay

#1-The fuse for the cruise control gets replaced every spring on my Bird. For
some reason, the cruise works intermittently in the spring time. I have learned
over the years that by simply replacing the fuse, the cruise works great. The
fuse is not open(blown). Must be really low amperage thru there.

#2-There were 2 50amp continuous duty relay's that provided power to the
Redi-Line. There is also a relay that provides voltage to the A/C clutch. Not
sure cuz I can't remember(5 years ago), I think I put the A/C Bosch relay in
there to keep the voltage good to that clutch.

(I have upgraded chasis a/c to R134 and made several improvements to that system
at that time)
