Keep in mind that if you are running one ac that draws 15 amps at 120 vdc you will be drawing somewhere between 165 and 190 amps on the 12 vdc side depending on the efficiency of the inverter. That's in addition to the normal current that is drawn from the 12 vdc circuits. That's a lot of current and a lot of heat! Alternators also have to be de-rated as the temperature increases.
