That switch is from an early 70's Chrysler- we took our own tools, and
removed it and paid the 12 bucks for it. Easy fix.- It will plug in directly
with
what you have now.

TJ- those switches must be pretty much universal.

I am on a small roll i have fixed three things in three days thanks to
you guys with all the answers.
One of the buttons on my co-pilot seat control is broken off, I went
to the junk yard today but they didn't know what year or model chysler
product it was off of. I read on this forum where someone bought a
switch at a junk yard for $10.00, if you can tell me here i can get
one or how to indentify it i would appeicate it.

Thanks again for all your help

I purchased a set of these new off eBay last year and they are similar, but not
identical - they use a surface mounted chrome housing and mount on top of the
existing panel instead of behind it. The switches and electrical parts are
identical and you could remove them and install them in your old housing. I
liked the way this housing protected the switches from sideways motion - both of
my originals were broken because the switches were pushed sideways too far.

Search for item number 220064003052, make sure you ask him for a left and a
right side one - they are stamped with a red marking on them.

Good luck,

On my then 83 FC 35, I took the old switch with me, then pulled
switches out of multiple Chryslers to find the match. The 76 to 78
year range worked for me.

If you send me a email pic of the back of the switch (where the
electrical connections are), I will see if it matches one of two spares
I have. Not all switches have the same connector scheme. If yours
matches my spare, you can have it for mailing costs. I have a short
harness if you want to just cut off your connector and wire to the
harness I have. The switch will likely not match the outward
appearance of the original. No chrome, just black plastic switches.

Also found a Dodge dealer in New Jersey that has all the remaining new switches
in inventory. Only wants $250 each! Claims to be selling them to RV
manufacturers.

If finding a replacement switch fails...and your speaking of the
bigger joystick toggle in the center of the three...I had luck in
purchasing a generic "big toggle switch" from Radio Shack and then
taking the switch carefully apart and filing the R/S toggle to fit. I
posted the job on the Wanderlodge FC site (files) since it was more
specific to the FC coaches.

Also I "switched" the switch units (org. pass side for the drivers
side) as the drivers switch gets by far the most use....if all else
fails, put your pass seat full back and use that good switch for the
drivers side.

Good luck!
