Back On the Road Again
Morning, All:
Yesterday the repairs to my hydraulic system were completed. New hydraulic pump, new hoses and fittings, new fan motor, all installed, tested, double checked for leaks, 20 mile test drive. All OK. After a frustrating 8 weeks dealing with obsolete parts, one defective hydraulic pump (replaced by manufacturer), we're up and running again. 237 miles yesterday from my "home 20" to Perry, GA. No incidents (except dropping my right drive wheels and tag into a ditch -minor damage to rear bumper and a portion of my lower right side exterior - well I guess that's why we have insurance). Thanks everybody for advice and assistance on repairs my hydraulic system! Tommy Rountree, AKA RetDA Still a Newbie 1994 WB |

RE: Back On the Road Again
Tommy,
I'm really glad that your bus is all back together and working as it should! You've blazed new ground for the Wide Body owners! Sorry to hear about your road rash. Don't feel bad, no matter how many miles we have under our belts, things happen... Later I'll tell you about the time I backed into a palm tree!
