House water problem
I replaced the original house water pump and the sink cabinet bottom
yesterday and everything seems to be working fine, I get lots of water pressure. The question I have is this: there is a clear mesh type filter that is on the inlet side of the pump and it has some water in it but is not full and the pump sounds like it is sucking air. It will eventually shut itself off. It looks like the inlet filter connects to the tank via the sporlan valve. I would assume that it should be full of water since it is at the same level as the bottom of the water tank. No water came out of the hoses when I removed the old pump either. I will be checking out the sporlan valve tonight, but if it was stuck, why would I get any water? Thanks. TJ Hannink Winter Park, FL 198 FC-33SB |
