Now No Hot Water Flowing To Faucets...84FC
Got the Sporlan valve fixed and water flowed to all fixtures-hot and
cold. Came in the house to post here that all is well, went back outside and now no water flows when faucets are in hot position. Pump acts satified and doesn't run when calling for hot water. Opened water heater pressure relief valve and it just dribbles. To eliminate the pesky Sporlan valve, I capped the city water line running to the water heater. No change. Called Ft. Valley and got answering machine. Grrrrr. Advice??? David Hollis 84 FC35SB Springfield,IL |

David, Do you get cold water now? Did you check to make sure the hot
water tank DRAIN valve is in the closed position? Not the pressure relief. On our 86FCRB it is behind a small door under the bed on the driver side. It is where the fresh tank drain valve etc. It simply pulls a cable to a valve under the bed. The valve may not be seating correctly. Get access and try the knobs see if the cables open and close the valves. To get on board water, make sure all of those drains are closed, the switch out side is in the tank fill OFF position. Also make sure the pump is working correctly ie: pumping water. I am not sure that their is city water flowing to the tank in a separate line. The sporlan valve simply allows the tank to fill or not. There are two inlets on the tank, one is for the water inlet, the other is the inlet for antifreeze going into the tank to keep the water hot while travelling. Maybe you capped the water inlet. Not to worry we will get ya there. If you like email me your phone # and I can call ya...cme4boatsataoldotcom..
