Ice Maker Leaking
Turned on my ice machine for the first time in several months, and it
is leaking water out the back. It is visible inside the small stepwell door in the carpet. Previously the ice maker worked perfectly. Suggestions? Scott Forman 82 FC35RB Memphis |

Ice Maker Leaking
Hey Scott, I would strongly suggest you find the leak! That "switch
box" is very expensive. I have had my ice machine out several times (sheesh) The U-line ice machine takes water in through the front of the machine, the water line runs up through the floor and under the machine to the front, actually to the water pump. Take the front grill off (one screw) and see if that area is wet. Maybe it is a simple washer in the line that needs replacing. It could be leaking and the angle of the coach may cause the water to run to that side of the coach. If this is the case replace the washer, be carefull the fill hose connects to the water pump, the pump housing is plastic, be careful removing the hose you do not want to crack the pump housing. There is a small hose that runs from the front of the machine into the "fill" on the ice mold. I can not believe this is your problem because it is a single hose that runs from the pump to the fill. If you need to take the machine out it is fairly simple, unplug the machine from inside the tranfer switch compartment, along the side of the machine there is 6-8 screws holding the machine in place. My guess is that the washer is leaking. If not let us know, the ice machine and U- line and I have a "working relationship"! The ice machine is one of the few requirements my sweetie has...so you know the rest. :>) ScottB 86FC35 SC --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Scott Forman" <sforman@...> wrote: > > Turned on my ice machine for the first time in several months, and it > is leaking water out the back. Ice Maker Leaking
Hi Scott,
Had the same thing happen to mine (90SP36). Remove the small cover at the bottom of the ice maker (visible with the door open) and check that the hose fitting on the incoming supply line is tight. --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Scott Forman" <sforman@...> wrote: > > Turned on my ice machine for the first time in several months, and it > is leaking water out the back. Ice Maker Leaking
Most likely either the hose washer (where supply is attached), or
the fill valve is cracked (fairly cheap part from most appliance repair shops). - Jeff Miller in Holland, MI --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "williamcharrison" > > Hi Scott, > Had the same thing happen to mine (90SP36).
