My Gast 120v compressor is original to the coach. It has been rebuilt by Gast once. The compressor is leaking air at the head and rattling when it runs. I got sticker shock last night in the Granger catalog. I like the idea of have a higher PSI compressor so tires can be aired with out having to find a station. Has anyone changed brands? I have 12g a. wire and a 20amp breaker. I am sure I can use more than a 1/3 hp motor.

When I bought my coach, the original Jun-Air (bought by Gast) compressor had been nocturnally liberated. I bought a (salvage) new compound Jun-Air compressor off Ebay for $192?. It will pump up to 170PSI.
It was from a company that purchases construction salvage and sells on Ebay. I don't have time to get the info right now but I will gather up what info I have on the compressor and source and post it as soon as I get time. 2003 LXI dbl. slide George & Norma Fox Mexico in Winter Alaska in Summer http://www.doszorros.com |

Charlie:
I purchased a Jun-Air OF332 compressor off Ebay from an outfit called SYWLLC in Elkins, NH for $142.43 plus shipping. This was a new compressor with one hose fitting missing that I assume was rejected from some construction job and sold as salvage. It is a compound compressor as used in dental offices and is very quiet and very good. I do not have a phone number for them but you can probably find one on the internet or from Ebay. 2003 LXI dbl. slide George & Norma Fox Mexico in Winter Alaska in Summer http://www.doszorros.com |
