My bird house has 16' walls with a 3/4 pitch roof. I've got 3 joists to duck under as I traverse most of the roof, while the rest I can walk upright. I'm 6'4" and the bus is parked along the wall (3-4 feet out). At 18' sides, you'd have MORE than enough room to wander your roof.
