Looking for a great place to camp and do a little fishing, waterskiing or boating? Davis Camp on the Arizona side of the Colorado River at Laughlin might be a great place to consider during the months of October through May. Temperatures begin to rise in June with 120*F not unusual in July, Aug and Sept. Great weather today @ 82*. Laughlin, NV is just across the river with several large hotels and casinos with great restaurants and buffets to enjoy. The Riverside Hotel & Casino has a 740 space RV Park which is filled with “Snowbirds” during the winter months.

The pics are taken from the Nevada side of Davis Dam pointing down river to Davis Camp which was the original location that housed the workers as they built the Dam. The Camp is now operated by the Park Service as a RV Park and Campground. Attached is their Website.

The first picture is a view from our front window early this morning. The second would have been a Bird of the Week shot on the old forum.
Dry camping in what one travel guide calls a ghost town and the saddest place in Texas - Indianola. Once a major city and seaport, with docks extending out a half mile into the bay, two major hurricanes wiped out the entire place, virtually 100%. Now it is a very quiet place to pull into and enjoy nothing but the solitude. For those interested in a longer version of the history, see: http://www.texasescapes.com/TexasGhostTo...nolaTx.htm

Tela and I are in Little Rock. We travel often over I40 between California & Tennessee to visit relatives in TN. We always spend a few days at this RV Park in Little Rock. Actually it is across the river in North Little Rock. It's ran by the city and is only $29 nightly for riverfront parking and less for just riverview sites. The pics show the Clinton pedestrian bridge crossing the river to the Clinton Presidential Library shown in the background. The other pic is a shot over the river of downtown Little Rock and the Riverwalk along the river.

The rv park is called Downtown Riverside RV park. It is located at 50 Riverfront Drive, North Little Rock, AR.
