84 PT40 "Lady Bird" is up for sale - It's time
We previously took our coach off the market in August of last year and stayed at
the party for a couple more dances but the time has come and this party is over
for us. "Lady Bird" is back on the market and advertised on a number of sites
including craigslist. The advertised asking price is $40,000 but we are
realistic and receptive to serious offers. The coach is very well maintained
and has a number of upgrades and pluses including a factory remanufactured
6V92TAC with only about 82,000 miles on it. Upgrade to 6 batteries (in addition
to the generator battery), Xantrex 2500 Inverter/ Charger. Bedroom is the
somewhat rare side bed layout that adds an amazing amount of storage (built in
dresser & drawers). Pics posted to the album "Page & Lynda's 84 PT40" here in
the WanderlodgeForum. Complete specs and many more pics at
http://ladybirdbus.com

It's been a fun and rewarding ride but this time it's got to go. We no longer
use it enough to justify the expenses of ownership and fuel. If anyone is
looking to get into a nice Bird or move to a bigger bird shoot us an email or
give us a call at 850-580-1056.

"Lady Bird" is sold and departed North Florida with her new owner today. He's a
nice guy that knew what he was looking for, I expect you'll likely see him here
soon. For the record there is hope on our older BB coach values. Ours went for
$29K. We all know the market value should be more but perhaps this is a sign
that the worst is past. Diesel fuel coming down a bit should help the
situation.

Thanks for the help & suggestions you have offered over the past 5 years. I'll
likely drop in once and a while to keep up with you all. Take care and keep 'em
between the lines.
