redoing battery compartment.
I've been busy this week re-doing the battery compartment on my 93pt-
40. I've taken the eight house battery's out and have sand blasted the
compartment tray's. I also ordered a new iota 55amp smart charger to
replace the old chargers. I plan on painting the compartment (both
trays) with a epoxy paint, and re-lubing the rollers on the tray's.
I've made all new battery cable's and plan on installing them when I
put the battery's back in. I used welding cable and end's on the new
cable's. I filled the end's with hot solder and then stuck the cable
end's into them. All seem's to be going good. Ernie, It's great site
and Iam glad to be here. Best of luck.. Bob...93pt40 Illinois.
