SP 36 vs GM 4106
We are looking at a 1992 sp36 as compared to 4106. This may seem like an odd question but, from what I hear, the Wanderlodge.s (36) has a longer hang after the rear tires which tends towards a wider swing on turns and not as stable handling on the road and in wind where the 4106 at 35' seems to not have the same issues. Also is the 3208 Thursday with ZF tyranny enough power for that bus? We will be doing a lot of mountains. Thanks for the help.

RE: SP 36 vs GM 4106
I do not know what a 4106 is but I do know what an SP36 is. Mine is a 1991. On our maiden voyage we came from Casper Wyoming to batesburg Sc. to Clearwater Fl. in three days 2300 miles. At the end of day one we were watching the news and saw that a couple of tractor and trailers had been blown over on the same road we had just traveled. As it turns out we saw the portable signs that said high wind warnings and never gave it a second thought. The bus ran great and the wind never bothered us. As far as speed goes, I have had mine to 80 once or twice, not a comfortable thing to do but it will do it. Cruising at 70 no problem

RE: SP 36 vs GM 4106
Hmm sort of like comparing apples to kumquats. Other than length and horsepower the two coaches share no other real aspects. One has a two cycle engine the other has a 4 cycle. One makes 318 HP and one makes 300 HP. One is twenty five years newer than the other. Technology is bound to be affected. Available knowledgeable mechanics will vary greatly from one coach to the other. Pick the one you like!
