Camping on the beach in the Daytona Beach Area
If you want to to literally "camp on the beach" in the Daytona Beach Area, then is is the place for you. Power, water and a dump station. Outstanding restaurant right next door with an outside deck. Both the Flagler county beachs AND the restaurant are dog friendly!Big Grin If you bike, you can bike or drive about 4 miles north to SR100, Flagler Beach, where they have an outstanding farmer's market on Friday's and Saturday's mornings until noon. Tons of restaurants and drinking establishments to choose from.

Park: http://www.floridastateparks.org/gamblerogers/

Reservations: http://www.reserveamerica.com/r/campgrou...kCode=gamb

PS when they talk about pets not allowed on the state park beach, they mean THEIR state park beachfront area about 1000 feet of it. Dogs ARE allowed on the beach on either side of their beachfront which is Flagler county and the restaurant is on Flagler county property.Wink Both sides of the flager county beachfront are easily accessible from the campground section, enjoy!

nahh!Big Grin I think a good percentage of the Rv'ing community travels with Pets and / or Children. Great inexpensive relaxing place to hang out when your down this way for the entire family. Although Flagler does allow dogs on the beach, Volusia does not, so we have to travel to lett'em play. I'll never forget when we took Luckbear and Taz to Carabelle and took them on the beach. They both loved it!Tongue And that crazy 16 lb 1/2 Jack Russell / Spaniel LOVED to chase the hermit crabs there. It was the funniest thing I ever saw watching this tiny weenie little hermit crab with their 1 claw back that 16 lb crazy Jack down!Tongue Absolutely hilarious and I will never forget it! Taz the pom just loved walking on the sand once he figured out he wasn't going to sink in it!:)hhahahahaha

PS forgot to mention the restaurants name next store is High Tides at Snack Jacks! :-)
