heater switch - Bill Garamella - 01-09-2009 06:12 Last year I thought I needed a new switch/thermostat for the Martin heater below the couch in our 83 FC. The heater was not functioning properly if would run for just a short time and turn off. When I heard it was about $80 at Grainger I looked a little deeper. Another forum member reported there is an allan screw that adjusts the thermostat setting on this. Sure enough, after playing around with it a lttleI found the correct position and so far, so good. They have an updated heater and thermostat for $170. I replace all three of my toe heaters with these. They are smaller and quieter. The thermostat is available of about $28 bucks.
