Trans heat/guage - kingmtpg - 06-18-2008 16:56 I have a question you experienced BB guys can answer for me. I have a stock 78 3208NA 35'FC. I got the impression reading the manuals that a hot trans would show up on the water temp guage since the radiator cools both the trans and engine. I recently had a experience that would make me question that. Any help? Thanks in advance. Brad Bloxham, 78 35'FC 3208NA (W8 4 ME). Does anyone know if a hot transmission (Allison 4sp on a 35FC 78 3208NA) would make the water temperature guage show hot? Or is it possible to have a hot tranny and NOT have it show on the water temperature guage?
