LCD replacement project - Don Bradner - 12-10-2007 13:25 A previous owner had replaced the CRTs in Blue Thunder with LCDs, including a 23-inch in the front. I had a 2-year-old 27-inch on hand, and decided to swap. I liked the looks of the OmniMount that Jay Darst used in his basement entertainment center, so that's what I used. I was motivated by a few things; first was that I already had the 27 available. Second was that the 23 had terrible sound, and third was that the picture quality on the Viewsonic 27 was much better than the JVC 23.
