Speaking of Antenna Towers - racin41bb - 05-11-2005 07:08 The tower although functional appears somewhat unusal & dated when raised to operating height. I tell people who stop and inquire about the WL that the unit is a water tower. I've had replies like "seems like the tank is kinda small for such a large bus." I usually tell them we don't shower very often. Then, for some reason, they leave. BTW I replaced the BB antenna with an omni directional (mounted on the tower). Reception is great. Bill in at home in Roanoke, VA with running water in the house. (no tank on the roof). 1987 FC-35 |
